Omdat Gurrie écht gestopt is met de Willy DeVille Int. Fanclub en de bijbehorende website en nieuwsbrieven, is er zoals bekend in overleg met de fanclub een Willy DeVille Fans Twitter website opgezet: http://twitter.com/devillefans Bewust van het feit dat (nog) niet iedereen op de hoogte is van dit 'korte berichten verschijnsel' (snelcursus: http://www.twitterinfo.nl/ ) is er met dit Twitter account ook een Willy DeVille Fans blog: http://devillefans.blogspot.com/ In tegenstelling tot de sociale netwerken is dit een open website en hoef je je hier niet eerst aan te melden. Bovendien vanwege het internationale karakter, hoofdzakelijk in het Engels. Gewoon opslaan in je favorieten en af en toe eens kijken.

Op http://devillefans.blogspot.com/ wordt de meest essentiële DeVille informatie uit de eerste hand doorgegeven. En het blog bevat ook een twitter applicatie zodat er in één moeite door meegelezen kan worden. Gurrie blijft een belangrijke rol spelen in de informatievoorziening. Zo gaat hij 23 augustus naar de WILLY DEVILLE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION SHOW in New York en zal hij zoals beloofd verslag doen via deze genoemde internet media.

A.s. vrijdag 6 augustus is de sterfdag van Willy. Willy DeVille Int. Fans blog zal hieraan op die dag ook speciale aandacht verlenen. We kunnen ons voorstellen dat je op deze speciale dag je gevoelens en gedachten wil delen met anderen. Dat kan via de 'comments' op de berichten op de blog en via Twitter dus. Als je in je twitterbericht hashtag #devillefans gebruikt wordt je bericht ook zichtbaar in de discussiegroep #devillefans Tips over DeVille activiteiten of bijzondere info kan je ook mailen naar: willydevillefanclub@gmail.com

Verder zal door de actieve samenwerking met de voormalige Mink-Willy DeVille International Fanclub de berichtgeving via dit blog nog meer geïntensiveerd worden door o.a. maandelijks terugkerende items als: Willy DeVid-Tip of the month... en TOP 10 M.I.N.K. Tweets (Most Interesting Nearly Known DeVillefans Tweets). En een belangrijke bron uit de DeVille scene heeft nog meer audio en video opnames van onafhankelijke oorsprong vrij gegeven en een clubje van actieve fans zal deze gaan digitaliseren, liner notes en coverartwork maken, uploaden en er YouTube filmpjes en podcasts van maken. Nieuwe releases door Jepp® Productions (DVD's) en JAG-box® Productions (CD's) worden als eerste op dit blog en via twitter bekend gemaakt (lees de statement hieronder in het Engels). Blijf ons dus volgen!

Because Willy DeVille Int. Fanclub and it's website and newsletters have stopped last year, in collaboration with the former fanclub we now report at: http://devillefans.blogspot.com and http://twitter.com/devillefans.

Unlike the existing social networks it is an open website and you do not have to sign in or log in. And because we want to reach international fans, it's mainly in English. Just save the blog-link in your favorites, follow @devillefans on twitter and occasionally watch and read the most essential DeVille information! Gurrie (former fan club president) continues to play an important role in information. He will go to the August 23 WILLY DEVILLE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION SHOW in New York and report us about it.

Furthermore, through active collaboration with former Mink/Willy DeVille International Fanclub reports via this blog will even more intensified with monthly recurring items as: Willy DeVid-Tip of the month... and TOP 10 M.I.N.K. Tweets (Most Interesting Nearly Known DeVillefans Tweets). And a major source of the DeVille scene has released more (existing) recordings of independent origin (ROIO) and a bunch of active fans will start digitize or adjust these, make liner notes, cover artwork, YouTube movies and podcasts and upload it for personal use or trading with the real DeVille Fans. New releases by Jepp® Productions (DVD's) and JAG-box® Productions (CD's) are the first published on this blog and via twitter. So continue to follow us and Mink-on!
