The 45 RPM 7" (pink) Vinyl "Soul Twist/Rolene"' was released Aug 25th 1978. A: Soul Twist (2:32) was written by Willy DeVille and B: Rolene (3:51) was written John "Moon" Martin. He also wrote 'Cadillac Walk', a song on Mink DeVille's previous album, Cabretta. Both songs were taken from the album "RETURN TO MAGENTA" (Capitol). Continued in the vein of the first album, with a mixture of rock, soul, blues, and Latin rhythms. It was produced and arranged by Jack Nitzsche, who also co-wrote a song with DeVille ("Just Your Friends").
